On June 1-4, 2026, Fairlea Associate Reformed Presbyterian hosted its fourth annual Creative Arts Camp.

For students entering Kindergarten through those entering 3rd grade.
Lauren Tilden will teach the Painting. Students will learn the basics of watercolor while creating paintings of animals and landscapes.
Bruce Curry’s class is Create with Mixed Media. This class will focus on creating a mixed-media artwork inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night using paper cutouts, glue, markers, and watercolors.
Donna Hoke will help the students create a Dish Garden. The students will make a dish garden out of a shallow container with a miniature landscape of live plants and figurines.
Kadee Ratliff will teach Learn to Crochet. This class will teach the students to crochet a pot holder using a one-stitch method.
For students entering 4th grade through those entering 8th grade.

Donna Farlow will instruct students in Decorating a Shoebox. In this class, the students will decorate a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child ministries.
Ingrid Curry will teach the students to build Gingerbread Houses. Students will assemble and decorate a gingerbread building. They will also learn that they can make their own creations with cardboard patterns. Recipes for gingerbread and icing “glue” will be included.
We hope to introduce your students to the Creative Arts and spark a lifelong interest in creating beautiful things, as God has created beautiful things.
